Here's how to get your real estate license:

When you receive your "Coach-in-a-Box" first listen to the audio recording, "How To Successfully Complete the Coach-in-a-Box RE Licensing System".  This introductory message will give you useful suggestions on how to get maximum benefit from the system.

For testing purposes the material is grouped into five sections.  When you've mastered the material in one section, you may take just the test for that section, or you may take the tests for all the sections at one time.  It's your choice.

The Virginia Real Estate Board requires that the test be monitored, closed book.  You can schedule a test time at our offices, or you may schedule the test with a Broker near where you live.  If your local Broker administers the test, he/she should contact us for the test materials and an authorization form.

The grades for the five individual tests are averaged for a final score.  To receive credit for the course, a passing grade of 70% or higher is required.  you will receive a Certificate of Completion for 60 hours course credit when you have successfully finished the course.

The "Coach-in-a-Box" Real Estate Licensing System prepares you for the state licensing exam.  You'll apply to PSI, the company that administers the state test, and schedule the exam at one of the test centers at a time convenient for you.

After passing the state licensing exam, you'll apply for your license to be issued to the Broker you are going to work with, and you are up and running!
